University of Exeter Business School appoints Chair of Board of International Advisors
A leading CEO with rich experience in running innovative businesses, cradle-to-cradle start-ups, circular and regenerative business models has been appointed Chair of the University of Exeter Business School’s Board of International Advisors.
Louise Kjellerup Roper is the CEO of Volans, a think tank and advisory firm that works with pioneering companies to help them transform successfully in the face of exponential change to create systemic change.
A successful entrepreneur, Louise has spent her career translating the emergent future for a huge range of businesses, giving them the tools and courage to help drive systemic, positive change around some of the planet’s most wicked problems. She started her career in the 1990s in the burgeoning tech industry and continues to advise on technology and innovation as Co-Chair of the TechNation Climate Committee.
As a passionate advocate for business to change the world, Louise has launched thought leadership initiatives such as the Tomorrow’s Capitalism Inquiry and Bankers for NetZero.
Louise is focused on empowering the next generation of leaders, mentoring and lecturing at a number of universities. Louise also sits on the Advisory Boards of The Global CO2 Initiative, The UKRI Interdisciplinary Centre for Circular Chemical Economy, the Circular Critical Materials Supply Chains programme, The Good Growth Company, and Ocean Bottle.
Louise lectures at a number of universities, and also sits on the advisory boards of the Global CO2 Initiative, the Sustainable Finance Centre, The UKRI Interdisciplinary Centre for Circular Chemical Economy and The Good Growth Company. In addition, Louise moderates the Volans Book Club, in which she hosts notable authors on systems thinking and societal transformation.
