University of Exeter Careers Service Ranked Top 3 in UK and Celebrated with Two Prestigious Global Awards

Exeter has been honoured at the 9th Global University Career Development Conference (GUCDC) held in Xi’an, China, receiving two prestigious awards
The University of Exeter Career Zone and SEAS (Student Employability & Academic Success) has been ranked 3rd in the UK in the 2025 StudentCrowd Best University Careers Service rankings, its highest-ever placing and based on reviews from more than 31,000 students nationwide.
Compiled from student feedback the StudentCrowd rankings evaluate universities across 11 key categories. Exeter’s performance in Careers Services stood out, with students highlighting the depth and quality of support received.
A final year international student commented: “For any student looking to maximise their career potential, I highly recommend taking advantage of the exceptional programmes offered by the Career Zone. Their support has been crucial in building my confidence and preparing me for the competitive job market!”
Adding to this success, the University of Exeter was also honoured internationally at the 9th Global University Career Development Conference (GUCDC) held in Xi’an, China, receiving two prestigious awards: the Exclusive Global Employer’s Choice Award and Most Productive Career Service Team Award.
Selected from more than 1,600 global partner universities and voted by more than 150,000 employers, the awards recognise Exeter’s exceptional efforts in providing career development and international student support and how they are viewed by employers as exemplar in the sector globally.
