Exeter secures top 20 ranking in two leading UK university guides
The University of Exeter has achieved a top 20 ranking in two prestigious national university guides.
Exeter is ranked 16th in the UK in both the 2027 Guardian University Guide and The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide – reinforcing its position among the UK’s leading universities.
The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2027 – one of the most respected annual league tables in the country – has placed Exeter 16th out of 133 universities in this year’s table, released today (September 18th).
It ranks higher education institutions according to indicators such as student satisfaction with teaching quality and their wider student experience, research quality, graduate prospects, and entrance qualifications held by new students.
Meanwhile, Exeter was ranked 16th in the The Guardian University Guide 2027, published on September 12th.
The University has five subjects – Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Earth and Marine Science, Biosciences, Health Professions and Biology ranked in the top five. Exeter also has 11 subjects in the top 10 of this year’s table.
