Exeter’s Centre for Degree Partnerships wins gold at QS Reimagine Awards

The University of Exeter’s Centre for Degree Partnerships has received a prestigious gold award at the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2024.
It won in the Power of Partnerships category, which recognises institutions that use partnerships to enhance the learning experience, inspire others to collaborate and influence the educational landscape.
The Centre for Degree Partnerships is central to the University’s work on degree apprenticeships: earn-while-you-learn qualifications that combine high-quality academic learning and rigorous skills training, developed in partnership with employers and students.
It was launched in September 2023 and works with over 400 UK-based and global organisations to address skill deficits and ensure the degree apprenticeship programmes align with the current and future demands of a diverse workforce.
Current employer partners working with the Centre include Amazon, JP Morgan, UBS, Bank of England, BBC, NHS, Bloomberg, IBM UK, Leonardo, the House of Commons as well as many government departments.
At a ceremony in London, Exeter’s Centre for Degree Partnerships was chosen from a shortlist of international education initiatives.
Rachael Johnstone, Head of Executive Learning and Director of the Centre for Degree Partnerships said: “We’re delighted that the Centre for Degree Partnerships has won the QS Reimagine gold award, which is recognition of how we are addressing skills gaps and helping to diversify workforces through our degree apprenticeship programmes, which integrate academic excellence with industry collaboration.”
