Exeter to welcome two leadership experts for special event
Ann Francke OBE, CEO of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), and the esteemed organisational psychologist John Amaechi OBE, have been invited to give keynote addresses at the Leading the Way event, hosted by the University of Exeter Business School and Centre for Degree Partnerships.
Ann Francke, who has spoken out about the need for more highly skilled managers to improve public services and boost economic growth, will share her expertise and vision for a ‘better managed Britain’ in a keynote that promises to be an enlightening discourse on effective leadership strategies, using recent CMI Better Management Campaign and Management 2030 research.
John Amaechi, an Honorary Professor at the University of Exeter Business School and founder of APS Intelligence, is a respected authority in the fields of leadership, diversity and inclusion, and an engaging public speaker whose unique blend of personal anecdotes and professional observations can be both entertaining and moving – as well as inspirational.
The keynote addresses will be followed by what is sure to be an engaging dialogue, facilitated by the University of Exeter’s Deputy Vice Chancellor for Business Engagement and Innovation Stuart Brocklehurst, in which the two guests will explore topics ranging from leadership and diversity to personal growth and resilience.
The event will end with an opportunity to network with fellow attendees and enjoy free refreshments.
Leading the Way with Ann Francke OBE and Professor John Amaechi OBE, 21 May 2024, 10am-2.30pm.
