Exeter strengthens position in ‘most international universities’ league table
The University of Exeter has strengthened its top 50 position in an influential league table ranking the most international universities in the world.
The University is ranked 39th in the latest Times Higher Education league table of the global 200 most international universities, published on Friday 27th January.
The 2023 Most International Universities list, complied by the THE, considers each institution’s proportion of international staff, its international student numbers, international reputation and the proportion of its research papers published with a co-author from at least one other country.
These are the latest rankings in the past year that reflect Exeter’s position amongst the world’s leading universities.
In October, the University was ranked = 137th in the world in the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings , while in September, Exeter was runner-up in the University of the Year award, and placed 13th overall, in the The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2023.
The University broke into the top 150 in the QS World University Rankings for the first time, securing 149th position in the latest table, while the University was also ranked as the 46th most international university worldwide, based on data from the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
Student satisfaction at the University of Exeter was also recognised as the best of any Russell Group university in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2022, published in July.
